The Jubizol Premium Insulated Render System was specified onto a new student accommodation development in Leicester.

The specifier required a class O rated render system due to the height and the close proximity of the neighbouring buildings.

The system was finished with JUB’s Unixil Through Coloured Synthetic Texture which is known for its flexible and hard-wearing capabilities.

The Kingdom House is a vision of a modern energy efficient home of the future, brought to fruition by Oliver and Robb Architects and built to Passive House standards by Campion Homes.

The inclusion of solar panels, PV Cells, Air Source Heat Pumps, Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery Units were complimented perfectly with the JUB Premium Facade System to produce a house with a negligible carbon footprint.

The JUB Premium Facade System uses 160mm of Graphite EPS insulation to achieve a ‘U’ Value of 0.19, this system is finished with the Nanosil Self-Cleaning texture.

JUB Approved Applicator G&R Ross Ltd applied the Self-Cleaning, Highly Breathable Silicone Render which uses Nano Technology to inhibit dirt pick up and to prevent staining, perfect for a building like this, with a coastal location, a minimal roof overhang and a large wall area.

Nanosil self-cleaning render has been installed on the new Warwick Hospital Care Unit.

Nanosil contains water-repellent siloxane which helps to shed water from external wall surfaces. Water cannot maintain contact with the Nanosil render and without water, micro-organisims like algae and lichen cannot survive.
